BEREFT TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM NOV 18

THIRD RELEASE BY NEW YORK BASED SILENT PENDULUM RECORDS

Madison, Wisconsin’s Bereft are set to release their debut full-length album, titled Lost Ages on Silent Pendulum Records on November 18th. After releasing a well regarded two song demo in 2013 and playing a number of midwest shows, the band hit the grindstone to write and record four brutally heavy and emotionally charged songs for their debut LP.

After forming in the summer of 2011, Bereft has spent the last three years crafting and defining their unique blend of post-metal. Combining classic doom and black metal styles and drawing from their views on religion, politics, social injustice and the human condition, the band has created an epic four song LP.

Michael Kadnar (Downfall of Gaia, Black Table) started Silent Pendulum Records in 2014 as an outlet to release music he felt passionate about. “I met and played with the guys in Bereft on my last US tour, and was blown away by their set. Since then I’ve been a big fan and am really excited to be involved in the release of their debut full length!”.

Recorded at Ambient Audio Recordings by Austin Seymer in Sun Prairie, WI, Lost Ages will be releasing on vinyl, CD, and digital download on November 18th, 2014. The band will be playing select midwest dates throughout the end of 2014 and into 2015.
